Compliance Testing of Mammography Systems

DTC's evaluation of all Mammography systems complies with the 1991 MQSA standards as regulated by the FDA. This inspection includes the following:

A complete and comprehensive report on the above activities will be submitted by the medical physicist in a timely manner.

Facility personnel shall be responsible for submitting true and complete records for all evaluations. DTC shall, upon such review of the submitted material, report acceptability or deficiencies to the appropriate facility personnel who shall be responsible to assure that necessary corrective action be taken.

Five hours of non-patient time is required for the physicist to conduct the annual evaluation. The mammography technologist should be available for one hour durning the testing procedure.

This proposal does not cover performance of evaluations, training or tests between the evaluation addressed in the proposal. DTC has and does specifically rely upon the truth and accuracy of the representatives of the facility and the information provided by the facility to DTC relevant to the program.

The services performed by DTC are those required for CLIENT to remain in substantial compliance with any and all federal, state and municipal codes regarding the safe use of diagnostic radiological equipment as well as those applicable requirements of the Joint Commission on Accrediation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
