DTC Video is a corporation primarily concerned with educating medical personnel who work with, or around, radioactive materials or radiation producing machines. To meet this goal DTC Video produces videotapes and accompanying educational materials for use in medical facilities.
DTC Video's current product line consists of a nine volume video library and a video discussing mammography quality control procedures required by MQSA. The radiation safety library is intended for persons working with or around radiation in medical facilities. This library covers personnel from the housekeeping and security staff to the administrator. The following is a short description of the entire library. For more information about a particular volume in the library click on the title at the end of this page. To order videos or DVD’s of the library please call us at 1-800-653-4DTC.
Both DTC Video's Radiation Safety Video Library and the Mammography Quality Control Video are designed for use as in-service tools. Furthermore, each volume concentrates on one topic or procedure rather than attempt to cover the entire field of radiation safety or quality control in just one or two long lectures. This provides the advantage of targeting the specific information needed to specific personnel in a much more efficient manner than simply trying to cover all topics in one long lecture.
Every video we produce consists of a videotape, or DVD, and an accompanying book; both enclosed in a three-ring-binder for easy storage and use. The information in the video is presented as a story which helps reduce boredom and increase retention of important knowledge. The book contains educational materials such as objectives, a test, glossary of important terms and certificates of achievement for those who successfully complete an in-service. In addition, the book contains materials useful in maintaining accurate records of an in-service. Such materials include sign-up sheets and a teaching guide. When appropriate, the book contains selected excerpts from the Code of Federal Regulations covering the specific occupation or task discussed in the video.
We have found this combination of printed materials and a video provides effective in-service to all personnel who work with radioactive materials and radiation producing machines.

These videos may be ordered either individually or as an entire library. Individual volumes in VHS format sell for $295.00 each. If you order the whole library, the price is $255.00 for each video. Individual volumes in DVD format sell for $345.00 each. If you order the whole library the price is $295.00 for each DVD. A shipping and handling charge of $8.95 per volume will be added to each order.
